WP Downloader saves the free chapters of WebNovel books and fanfics as ebooks. The tool is free to use in your browser, with nothing to install and no WebNovel account required.

How to download a WebNovel story

  1. Open the book on WebNovel and copy its link. A book URL looks like https://www.webnovel.com/book/lord-of-mysteries_11022733006234505. A chapter link from the same book works too.
  2. Paste the link into the download form at the top of this page.
  3. Choose EPUB or PDF, then decide whether to include the story’s images.
  4. Start the download while WP Downloader collects the free chapters.

You can use the form on this page or paste the link into the box on the WP Downloader home page. WP Downloader will detect that it comes from WebNovel.

The downloader processes whole books, so it cannot download a single chapter. To get free chapters added after your download, paste the link again and create a new copy. WP Downloader cannot update an existing EPUB.

Available formats

EPUB is free for everyone and does not require an account. The WebNovel to EPUB guide explains how to download this format.

PDF is also free, but it requires a free Discord sign-in. Follow the WebNovel to PDF guide for instructions.

Both formats can include the story’s images. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Free and locked chapters

You do not need to sign in to WebNovel. Only chapters that WebNovel shows to everyone for free are included in the downloaded book.

Most fanfics on WebNovel are free from start to finish. Many original and translated novels are free for their first chapters only, and the rest are locked behind coins or a pass. WP Downloader leaves locked chapters out. It does not buy them, unlock them, or bypass WebNovel’s paywall. When chapters are left out, the book’s description says how many of the chapters it contains.

WebNovel comics are not supported.

FAQ

Can I download an entire WebNovel story?

If every chapter is free, yes. Otherwise the book contains the free chapters and leaves the locked ones out.

Do I need a WebNovel account?

No. WebNovel downloads do not require a WebNovel account. EPUB needs no sign-in, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

Can I download one WebNovel chapter?

No. WP Downloader handles whole WebNovel books. If you paste a chapter link, it downloads the book that chapter belongs to.

Why are some chapters missing?

They are probably locked chapters. WP Downloader includes free chapters and leaves locked ones out because it does not purchase or unlock them. If no chapter of a book is free, there is nothing to download. For help with a download, visit the help page.
